Big smiles, fake facial air & cake

The first time I heard about Santa, I thought he must be the most generous man of all !
..But then I asked- "How do all those who don't have chimneys in their homes get their share ??! lol

Christmas & it's typical special holiday like atmosphere aren't really that much of a big deal here in Japan, but the stories of a chubby old man dressed in red who pops for a visit on Xmas, leaving behind presents, are still making kids all over smile with anticipation & joy.

This almost tradition here of having cake & some chicken is sure to make me smile too every time.

Was more than happy to do my bit & get the kids smiling, seeing how their eyes beamed as I gave them their presents, all dressed in red; then lucky I was to share some cake I made, as well as receive some made by others.

All in all, a pretty fun, light & relaxed Christmas was.

Believers or non-believers, I hope your Xmas has been as festive & joyful as you wished it to be emoji13 187

IRoIRo Market

The past week flew by in supersonic speed, or so it seems..

Last Friday I was a bit tense, worried what the Sunday weather may be, hopeful the rain will let got for at least one day so we'll be able to enjoy the coming market.
After a very cold & wet Saturday morning, the skies did clear up & we had a sunny, at times even hot Sunday. icon01
The market went on it's way, & was in my opinion the best one yet.
I was so happy to see so many people enjoying the space, checking out the various stalls in the garden, as well as those inside.

Last weekend was busy, hectic, but well worth it all. ..and here we are at the beginning of another.
I hope this one will be as sunny as can be throughout, & hope you all make it the best one you can. emoji15 emoji52

Below, a few pics from last weekend's IRoIRo Market. emoji13

See you all again next time emoji02
