Moments
There are moments, when you sit, look at what's in-front of you & find yourself in awe.
There are moments that help define, that guide forward..
and being a part of those at times, feels...
A professor of mine once said something that kinda stayed with me..
- he said: "I can't teach you, I can only help you learn!"
For some reason I just loved that kind of forward thinking.
Here I am, some years later, helping some special people learn. Happy

H A L L O W E E N fourteen..
Thinking about the week that was, I can't help but smile.
It was fun, doing something a little different.. it's was 'Halloween week'.
I think displaying a shimmering brightly orange plastic fake Jack'o' is nice, but I rather have a real pumpkin in hand, transforming it into a one-off creation, to be then shared with the world for a day or few.
I got a hold of some perfectly sized little pumpkins, and a few massive, I mean, huge ones as well this year.
Many student could carve their own lantern ( I share before/after pics of some of them below )...
I was also able to create a small display of all the big ones in-front of the house.
Seeing the happy faces of all my students carving their pumpkins was the best reward this week.
Yes, it rained all through the weekend starting right before Halloween (& lasting to this very moment ), so getting the big lanterns I carved & placed in-front of the house lit was impossible; but I was still able to do so on Thursday, & those pics I share here with you all.
I'm thankful to all the students for their willingness to get their hands covered with pumpkin seeds & sludge ( lol ), & hope everyone enjoyed displaying their creations at home afterwards.
Hope it was a happy Halloween for everyone, in-spite of this unforgiving rain.
Enjoy the pics
